The guy was almost 50 feet away from where we stood, 4th rack from the door
so i would not venture a guess on that Randy

Just saw that he never used a torque wrench, just the air wrench

Ibram81, When wiring on anything, I always have a ground just for the thing you are adding. I never ground to frame. I always run dual wires, one hot, one ground, putting the ground where the battery grounds to engine block or where fuse block grounds. That way you never have one part using another's ground. More work, but huge difference in the end. And remember, the fuse protects the "wire" not the electrical device, so have the fuse sized properly to gauge of wire used to feed the electrical draw. Put the fuse as close as possible to the end of wire that hooks to power source. Simple things often over-looked. Just because it comes on doesn't mean its hooked up right.

Man Oh Man we got a sick Cliff here & all people wanna do is bash each other & talk illumination!!! Why God Why!!!!! Any ways right back asap cliff I wanna know what's got your truck all messed up. Just curios about that wiring harness mention from an earlier post & in addition doesn't that tune adjust shift points as well? Man I hope I'm wrong but hopefully your dealer mechanic doesn't try to pawn this issue on the p.c.m. being messed w/ then deny warranty claims. I hope that the tune doesn't leave any footprints. Anyways post back cause this type of issue w/ only 14 thou on the O.D. would press my hot button & have me thinking about driving said truck threw said dealers show room! But hey I'd never advocate such a thing!

So what would have the mechanic do if it is a PCM problem and the tune is in there? Are you saying Chrysler should warranty the PCM even though it's been altered? At that point, it seems like the company that coded the tune and the owner are responsible because they tampered with what the factory designed and installed.

Hey, I've been moddifying cars for years. When I tune it, thats it. I know I'm writing off factory warranty protection. But I pay to play. I go in with my eyes open. And if I encounter a problem with the pcm, I go to the tuner with it and see what they say after diagnosing.

The new Hemi is pretty well tuned...I wish there was a way to just turn MDS off without a tuner...that's all I'd probably do.

the dealer called me and the cam sensor and crank sensor went out of sync. they couldnt tell me why but they said it is all fixed and ready to pick up...
