There is. Shifter your shifter into gear 6 and it's gone till you shut off and turn on the truck again.

Good to hear cliff's back! Any ways to ramtech settle down fella! AllI'm saying is it would suck if they came back to old cliff here & said "p.c.m. was messed with & we found evidence & that seems to be your issue so tuff luck"! I didn't mean to imply the owner of said vehicle or the tuner wasn't to blame or was not to be held responsible. I was just saying how it would not be the best outcome. Sheeesh your a sensitive one huh. You don't by chance own stock in chrysler or own a dealership do ya. I could see your anger if that were the case but hey relax. One would think warranty claims would be keeping you fed not taking away from you. On the other hand I did make mention to a dealer one time about that magnuson moss act & he out right told me "good luck on that". "If the dealership wants to make you at fault for a failure then they can". "You'll spend more in legal fees trying to recover what the dealer refused to cover than you would by just sucking it up & replacing it your self". I know your all thinking the same thing I was "What an A&% Hole"! Any ways good to know about the cam sensor & that your rides back cliff & ramtech just ribbing ya is all.

Right. I know this is an option but I'm saying just an off switch or fuse to unplug would be great.

Sensitive? Not in the least but I get a lot of people that will modify things in their vehicles and get mad when that mod causes a problem that we don't warranty. As for warranty claims, well, they keep the car count up but Chrysler doesn't pay what time a job really takes whereas a labor guide like Mitchell or All Data does.

I always thought warranty claims were payed by vehicle manufacturers to dealership service departments based on the time accumulated on the completed work, no?

How then is the warranty work paid?

Some type of estimate based on the work outlined/performed by the manufacturer/dealership?

its actually pretty funny, had an issue with my Grand Cherokee during the warranty period, it required to remove the whole front end of the truck, bumpers, headlamps, radiator, the whole freaken works, and my buddy that was working the job since I would only let him work on my truck showed me the Chrysler time allotment for doing the job, said like .5 hrs, lmao, the Alldata software said 3hrs. Chrysler must think the Flash works at all the dealers.

You're correct for the most part. Chrysler does pay the dealership for the work done BUT Chrysler sets their own labor times which greatly favor them. Let me give you an example.

The 2008 Caravan had issues with the front brakes for which the solution is replacing the front brake pads and rotors. A reasonable real work time to do this is about 1 hour. Chrysler pays .6 of an hour. This means that in order to break even, we have to get the van from the parking lot, go get the parts, replace the brakes, test drive the vehicle, punch the start and finish times on the repair order with the time clock, write up what we did and the labor ops and return the vehicle to the service advisor all within 36 minutes. Doesn't seem very reasonable, does it? At my hourly rate, I make $12.60 for this.
