Heater core is fine, the heat does not get as hot as it should it really sucks lol, anyone know the problem? i was thinking heater door?

How did you check the core to determine it's ok? What is the temp of the heater hoses?

Hi my 1997 ram had a heating problem , does your heat guage register mid point
mine did and then I checked hoses to heater core they were hot one side , flushed
heater core problem solved

everything is okay, hoses are hot and what not, tried flushing it didnt work so i spent all weekend changing it out and it still sucks! im stumped

So you have a new heater core and little or no heat? Did you check for a stuck open thermostat?

I know this thread is little over 3 wks old, but if still having problems with no heat consider your water pump. That's what was wore out on my '97 Ram
