For an AT tire, I would look into the new Toyo AT2. Then I would look into BFG or Nitto Terra.
There are many others, but named the more common ones.

Because you have an 8.5" wide rim you are slightly better off than those with 9" wide rim
you actually have 3mm more to play with.

But I do not see why at 35" tire wont fit given you level the front a minimum of 2.5"

I'd also recommend getting some hub rings to make them snug on the hub of the truck

2012 ramm 1500 crew cab

Rim specs:
Wheel Part Number: XD77528586310
Size: 20 x 8.5
Diameter: 20
Width: 8.5
Lug Count: 5
Bolt Pattern: 5X5.5/150
Metric Bolt Pattern: 5x139.7/5x150
Offset: 10
Backspacing: 5.14
Center Bore: 110.5

Thanks.

Looked at the toyo at 2 but they don't make it in a 285/65r20 but they do have it in a 305/55r20 according to the site though they recommend a 9.5" rim width. Also I called 4 wheel parts about ordering a hub ring but they said I didn't need one due to that the dodges are the only truck using a 5 by 5.5 bolt pattern.

hub rings really dont have anything to do with the lug pattern...your bore is 110.5 and the ram is 77.8, its just to get the rim to sit even around the hub and be completely centered.

Yea, 285/65/20 is a BFG size tire among others.
Id look into 295/60/20 as well. Im sure AT2 and Terra come in that size. It is a 34.5" tire.
Otherwise the 305 will do.

Rams are not the only trucks using 5x5.5. I believe the older Fords use it too.

This is why I recommend it ^^^
Not 100% needed as the rims are and should be lug centric, but I like my wheels sitting on the hub

After calling about 20 local places and checking pretty much every website online I came across a place in BC that will ship to Newfoundland for free. I can 35 x 12.5 toyo open country at2 for $1700 taxes in. Best deal I can find and cheaper than the local stores are selling the bfg's at a smaller size.
