Default Trailering tires for a 2013 1500

Good afternoon all,

I have a 2013 1500 Longhorn with the air suspension that I pull a 23' travel trailer with pretty regularly during the warmer months and I'm looking to upgrade to a better tire. The tires that came on the truck are definitely more geared to comfort and after two years of towing it shows in the wear on the tires. I'm not looking for the cheapest options just a good all around tire for trailering and year round driving. The trailer is about 7500lbs or so loaded so I'm really right at or slightly over the total payload weight on the truck once I get everyone/everything loaded up. I'm not getting uneven wear on the tread so there are no issues there they are just about ready to be replaced though at 30,000 miles. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Best tires so far on my Ram= GY Armortracs. If you were off roading, I'd say the GY Duratracs.

A good LT tire will help in this area. Depending on application Duratracs, Cooper St Maxx, and Hankook Dynapro ATMs are good options. Only down side to going to a LT is that it is a heavier tire which can equal slightly less MPG.
