You are right, I did. 845 is my wax, Optimum Opti Seal is my sealant. Good catch.

Jay- You never really told me what you use for a polish? Also do you have any recommendations for a clay bar?

Jay and Primo- I went to autogeek.net and searched for "Optimum Opti Seal" (seeing as you both use it) and got quite a few different results for that sealant. Could one of you narrow it down for me? Also whats the difference between this sealant and say the wolfgang one?

Thanks again for all the help!

for polish...look to menzerna sf4000 or sf4500...awesome stuff..or the optimum finish polish...

Opti Seal is not what i was talking about...i was talking about pti Coat. 2 very different products by the same company.

Opti Seal is good, but will not last all that long...but is good when used in conjunction with a wax...

Im going to say that 845 and the wolfgang are both more durable than the opti seal (which i have and like). Of the three it is a toss up between the 845 and the WG for me...but I love the ease of use with the WG.

Primo - this there is a few wolfgang products...did you have a specific one in mind? This stuff def in not cheap lol. Also are there any other good polishes you might recommend? Liquid glass ? The only reason I ask is that I have liquid glass and I think it is a polish versus a wax?

all of the Wolfgang products are great IMO and worth the extra money. Their total swirl remover and finishing glaze (referred to as the wolfgang twins) are great and apparently made by Menzerna. I have many products from the wolfgang line and they are great. I was making specific reference to the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant above.

Ive never used Liquid Glass, but im a firm believer in if you have something and like it, great! use it.

If you like the looks of the Opti Seal, think about getting into the Optimum line...their hyper compound and hyper polish are great...then top with the optiseal and optimum car wax...a great line up of products and a bit cheaper than the Wolfgang..

I concur with Primo. Wolfgang is awesome, product may seem expensive, but a little product goes a long ways. Also I second Menzerna polishes, I love them. Also check out Klasse products as well. Just to put product usage in perspective I can wax my entire truck with 845 and only use 1/4" of product from the bottle.

Hey guys thanks for the reply! I think I will try the liquid glass polish and see what happens. The menzerna sf4000 or sf4500 are pretty expensive lol. The sf4000 though is a cutting polish and due to the extremely thin paint on these trucks I think I will stay away from that one. The sf4500 though I dont think is a cutter - or at least i dont remember reading that it is lol. Now last question - is the wolfgang 3.0 polish better than the regular? I cant seem to really find a difference in the two? I think once i get that answer i can get to work on getting this stuff ordered and see if i cant get my arm to fall off!

im lost with your question about the 3.0 polish...3.0 is the version number...

are you looking for the polish, or the swirl remover? the swirl remover has more cut...

Primo -

Got your PM - all straightened out. I guess I misread some stuff when looking over all the stuff on the website. Any recommendations on a clay bar or is one just as good as another? I never have clay bar'd anything so i dont know the first thing about it lol
