Default Leveling Kit?

Need some advice I have a 2012 Ram 1500 4x4 Express, I am wanting to get a leveling kit put on her mainly because I am not a huge fan of the rake look, But I also would like to fit some M/T 33's on her as well, I like the leveled look and wider stance as well. Any advice in how many inches, and what brands? Thank you!

Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks are the way to go. You have 5 settings you can set them at. For a level look most suggest 2.1" (second from highest), there is a 2.8" setting but SOME say the wide quality is reduced some. whereas 2.1 most report a BETTER than stock ride quality.

It is a little more expensive to use the shocks than the spacers (such as HBS 2.5" spacers that are 80/pair)

Go to autoanything.com or discountauto here on the forum and they can hook you up with a forum discount around 16% i believe.

Part #:24-187367
$119 each before discount

I second that. I did a spacer and wished I had done bilsteins. I would think 2 inches is about right for what you want with a 33. I leveled mine 2.5 and it was a bit too much gap with 33's before I went to a bigger tire.

i am putting mine on today and i am probably going to set mine at the 2.1 just to be safe, how hard is install and do you guys know the torque specs on the nuts and bolts of the assembly? i bought mine from streetside auto for $171.45 shipped because they price matched another website i think it was called autoplicity.com i think that is one hell of a deal for these bilsteins

You can do either Bilsteins or Pro Comps, I say go with Bilsteins because you have 5 settings and would recommend setting them at 2.1 if you are only going to run 33 MT's

If you need pricing and member forum discount, let me know and I can take care of you
