Was it easy to install? How much of a difference do you feel?

i am curious as well. how did the ride change. I have heard from others that bushing upgrade is the best first step to try, before replacing the bars. thanks for sharing

I am interested as well. I have heard of some members who have upgraded to the larger Hellwig rear sway bar and said that they experienced less body roll. I have also heard others say that simply upgrading the bushings has the same effect. It seems that the bushings should have a good effect since the bar itself is pretty beefy already.

I believe that Stacy David mentioned that upgrade in one of his videos several years ago

I'm assuming that the entire bar must be removed in order to replace it? Seems pointless to add a slit in the bushing. OP, how've the results been?

I think I answered my own question. In looking at some pics closer it appears that there is a slit in the bushing. Interesting.

The slit in the bushing is just like the OEM bushing that way you can spread it remove and re-install with out removing the bar. I noticed a decent improvement but I also use the rear 2 inch drop springs. Just a inexpensive mod.

@ keister was the two inch drop in the rear aimed at leveling the truck.

This seems like a nice cheap simple mod. Is the ride any smoother with the new bushings? I just put 22" srt wheels on my truck and the ride is much harsher than it was with the factory 20's and goodyears.
