I am very curious about this area as well. The aftermarket will have a field day once they hook into architecture. I see the EVIC especially useful for many areas outside of what its doing now.

From my understanding the base OS will be/or is QNX which is being used in the new Blackberry Z10. This has a two fold effect and opens up a whole world for app developers for automotive related consumer wants and expands QNX app selection which right now is very weak when compared to iOS or Android.

To all my fellow Canadians who are upset about not having apps for our market, they are coming - if not by the carriers then by the aftermarket.

Probably not a bad spot to let your ram problems be heard?
I'd think people will pay attention there?

also this weekend the USB port for plugging in your devices quit working.
The hint it's giving you is to move west into the next time zone.... Maybe there's a setting for the time zone that you need to reset?

Same here, done 5000km on mine - all highway driving - in 6 weeks.

No issues except a malfunction warning lamp that disappeared after a day. And of course the 8.4 locking up periodically.

Extremely happy with the quality of fit finish and paint job.

Doing an oil change this weekend.

(Some little s*** egged my black RAM on Sunday morning, guess it makes people jealous

Anyone else have the anti-spin (limited slip) rear end?
I made a uturn with my Ram and instead of backing
Up and then going forward I just pushed through the snow bank
With my passenger side. As soon as the rear tire got in the snow
I was stuck. The drivers side was still on tar, I should've been able to push
Through. Or at least the traction control should've kicked in on
The tire that was spinning even without me pushing the gas pedal..
Is the limited slip really more of a mostly slip rear end? And
Why didn't the traction control kick in?

I think it's ashame that someone would not purchase a vehicle that they had their eyes on due to negative post. I am sure there is a very small percentage of people who experience major problems out of all the trucks sold and when they use forums like this to air them it scares the hell out of people. If you think Ford or GM are going to be better well guess what why don't you go visit some of thier forums and read some of their complaints. I'm a Ford guy at heart and I can tell you first hand you won't have any problem finding complaints about their vehicles. They are all going to have problems the best thing you can do no matter what you buy is to make sure your dealer has good custormer service and stands behind your purchase.

I have to agree. I went on some websites the other day and people are having several issues with Ford and Chev's. I am waiting for a 2013 and like some I am a little nervous about the moral at the Warren Michigan plant however I cant wait to get it. With that said, do your self a favour and have a look at other forums. All I can say is that I am very happy to have a Dodge Ram even if my dad works for ford in the plant.

Hay Chunkem I wouldn't sweat it. I don't hold much value to that article. Everyone on an assembly line has a particular job to do. It would be very foolish to create sabotage knowing it could easily be tracked back to them thus possibly loosing thier job.
