Default Ghosst Build

I see all these sweet trucks on here with build threads and it seems that people really enjoy them so Ill try to provide some entertaining material. I see a lot of people that insert pictures into there thread instead of attachments..how do you do that? Any ways here is a couple pics that I had taken right after I brought it home brand new. 2013 RAM 1500 Express quadcab 4x4.

Here is my first mods. I painted the headlight housings black and added Oracles to them. Also took the Ram badge off and painted it black.

That's a good start so far. Those headlights look good. I like the Oracles a lot.

For the pictures to be inserted, you need to set up a photobucket account and load your pictures in there, then format the image link into your post and they show up that way.

First performance upgrade was the exhaust. I took the factory duals off and went to a single 3" cat-back with flowmaster 40 series 3-3 and 4" Matte black tip behind the wheel.

I upgraded the stereo to a pioneer touchscreen, Hiphonics 1000w amp and 2 12" Kicker Compvr subs but haven't taken pics of that(ill get on it). At any rate next was the roll pan. I really like these trucks with roll pans because I feel they set them apart. Also felt it was a good time to throw on black led taillights and an led third brake light.

Decided to go with the glowing ram eyes next and paint that emblem black to match the front.

At this point I decided I needed some new wheels and just didn't have time for two projects so one had to go. Here is a few pics of my toy car I sold.

I decided to go with 26" wheels because that's what I think looks good on my truck for what I use it for. I have a work truck I have for a dd and I don't do muddin. Some day when I decide to set it up more for speed I may drop it a little and do a 22" wheel/tire setup because these suckers are a little heavy although they do ride pretty well.

Next was painting the mirror caps and door handles. Also decided to change the grill out to the factory horizontal bar design and paint them black.

Ok, a little time had past since the last grill (probably about 3 months?) and I had not done anything in a while and was feeling restless. I painted my fog light housings black(note to all be careful taping off the chrome inside the housing because the chrome is cheap and came off with my blue painters tape). Put on cross drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads, painted the calipers, added vararam intake and a diablo trinity with hemifever tune of which im still trying to get a tank of fuel through it so I can put in the 91 oct tune Sean wrote for me.

Next up was changing the accent lighting inside the truck from the soft white to red. I think im going to go with a red light theme and think it will work well with the factory white/red needle gauge cluster and my white/red pioneer radio. It was a pita but all in all I love it. Only casualty was the hvac controls which I had some trouble with. Ill just buy another one here at some point and redo it.
