Started experimenting with PlastiDip and the Glossifier. So far i've just done the emblems. We'll see where this goes. I need to wash the truck up.. I think I'll do that this afternoon.

Well fast, still not sure I'm in love with it. I applied 3-4 HEAVY coats. Felt like it was pouring it on. But it didn't give it the perfect gloss look. I think the main thing I don't like about the plastidip black is that it's a matte black finish. And there's nothing that you can do to it to give it a true gloss black look. It will end up just looking like a glossy matte black. It's okay on the front, but the tailgate has so much surface area around it that the emblem looks out of place. May buy some new emblems and just have them painted to match. Should have done that in the first place.

After 2 light and 3-4 heavy coats.

eff the tailgate emblem. the more it dried, the more it started looking like a matte finish. anyone have tips for getting the black gloss finish that i want?
