I was seriously contemplating a 2013 Ram 1500 as recent as this past Christmas.

I had washed away that thought, somewhat, recently when I leveled my truck.

After reading that article, I have no regrets whatsoever for choosing to hold on to my 12'.

Nothing worse in a work place, any work place, than having morale scrapping the ground.

So sad.....

To my way of thinking
new employees get about 3 days of classroom training, covering policy, safety, first aid, etc.
Then they get the Grand Tour & then they are assigned to a station, where they are teamed up with an experienced worker, who has to explain that stations function as they continue working, this slows production on the line, the new person is allowed to do a couple themselves, slowing down the line even more, until they get the hang of it. Then the experienced worker watches for a bit & signs off on the new employee, who then usually ends up on the 3rd shift

This has a "work-to-rule" campaign written all over it. Then union workers wonder why they don''t get the support of the public.

Stuff like this happens all the time. Don't think Ram is the only one. Most manufacturers go through this at some point. It is something that would raise flags if it kept on and kept being an issue. But I havent had any issue with my 13s. No complaints by customers or warranty fixes.

I second that. We might just be better off with the new hires building them.

I'm sure you're right.

However, it doesn't look good when it's happening at the same plant that manufactures the "2013 Truck Of The Year."

I'm sure the suits at Chrysler are anything but happy ATM.

For the record, the toolboxes on the competitors boards are having a field day with this story.

I agree that it isnt great and that it looks good on Chrysler. Its horrible. I just didnt want to many members freaking out and thinking the 13s are now trash

I could just see some members taking this to an extreme and wanted to squash it before it got out of control.

I am glad I stuck with my 12 though

My regular cab is being built by hard working Mexicans, so I'm not worried.

Lol no doubt! You think any Mexican would complain about full time paid work. If Reagan was still around he'd fire them all like the air traffic controllers in 1981!
