It just seems funny that when the Kokomo 8 speed transmission plant went into production last Monday, now the Warren Assembly Plant goes to rotating shift schedule & the Assemblers complain

I worked for the State of California doing Highway Maintenance for 33 years
at one time they had us working weekends.
One shift worked Tuesday through Saturday, the other shift worked Sunday through Thursday
After that they changed to 2 shifts 4/10 & still worked 7 days a week

After i retired, they started a different program, 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday the first week, 2nd week was 8 hours Monday through Thursday, no work or pay for that 2nd Friday.
If that Friday falls on a Holiday, there was no Holiday Pay either
That is why all Offical California Offices are Closed every 2nd Friday, even the DMV

I lived through a labor dispute at a large company in the Northeast from the Management side of the house. The unions use propaganda and sensationalism to attempt to leverage the company to their demands. Most of the time, at least in my experience, the claims are either grossly overstated or not true at all. I am not worried about quality of my Ram any more than I normally would be and that is what warranty coverage is for anyway.
