Default 2003 3500 needs front ujoints, Again!

This tuck is stock. under 75000 miles. Original's were replace under warranty at around 50000. Now I am getting that familiar clicking noise coming from the Drivers side wheel. Dealer said the replacement ones were not the stock ones they had failures with. So my questions. Is this a common problem with this year truck? Is there a better replacement part? OEM doesn't seem to be working for me?

I would be more inclined to blame a faulty installation of the last set as opposed to the joint itself but without seeing it, it's hard to say for sure. If you do go with an aftermarket joint, choose a brand with grease fittings.

X2, I'd look into Dynatrac hubs or something like that. I know when mine go that's what I'm doing for sure. www.dynatrac.com

Its a common problem, but I can't really tell you a brand that is any better. You might check on some of the Cummins forums, its a common topic.
