Default Mod exhaust void factory warranty?

I just bought a new ram hemi and want to upgrade exhaust. Will changing the muffler or modifying it in any way void my factory warranty?

No if you are just replacing the muffler you should have no issues. I've just been told to be careful when you start messing with Cats and headers stuff like that. I'm sure a Technician will chime in in a few and give you some more advice. I've got an 18" magnaflow on mine and all i got from the dealership were compliments on her growl!

yeah anything cat back or just a muffler swap is ok.

As for a muffler delete, its debatable since I don't know if the dealership could say that because you removed the muffler there is a back pressure issue so that's possibly a gray area

You should have no problems. I have had several new cars that I have bought in for warranty work with either a weld in or usually a whole cat back. Long as you stay away from the cats and manifolds your fine. I kept my stock down pipe from my cobalt ss turbo for whenever it went in under warranty. Cat back and the K&n cold air kits have never caused a dealer to give me any problems.
