I think Gatty is not going to happen. I haven't asked yet and don't think I am going to.

that's my issue too. I start my new job a week before gatty. I canceled my hotel room to get my money back. But still might call and reserve through the hotel so I'm not out money, but can still go if by some chance my regular day off ends up being that friday. I really wanna go, but chances are lookin slim :/

Well after a week of training they sent me into the lot to test drive all of the new models so I can relate my training to the real world. Much to my chagrin this meant getting in the Titan as well. First off the 370Z and the Maxima SV are awesome cars. Fun to drive and they get up and go. The car that suprised me the most was the Juke. That little car is sneaky quick. The Titan was a joke. The cab was pretty cramped, know that I am 6'3'' 320. I just didn't like it overall, but I guess I am partial.
I have a question for you, and I ask just out of curiosty, even though you dont like the titan, if someone comes in to buy one or is on the fence do you have to play like you do to try to make the sale? obviously the opinion on the titan is your own and many may love it but do you play like it is awesome so you can make the sale? I would assume yes right, you gotta go what you gotta do. And congrats on the new job, my parents had older nissans years ago and they lasted forever, if I couldnt have a ram for some reason and wanted another half ton I think it would be a titan depending on what it was like to drive

I test drove a Titan before I bought my '09 (I test drove everything but Ford, don't care for the looks inside or out). It was not a bad truck, Nissan cabin tech was a little outdated, but the power was awesome.
With Ram trucks I always feel like there is a little sluggishness to them, probably due to the torque management, traction control, and electronic throttle. The Titan had much much less. Stomp the pedal and go!
Bottom line deal breaker was that their best deal on an extended cab was more money for less truck than the Ram Quad.
Lifted Titans do look awesome with the short hood.

I prefer the Ram, but The Titan has some strong points that I prefer over the Tundra.
I could never look at those specs for the 5.6 engine and even begin to take it seriously. The displacement between it and our trucks is .1 liter, and the Ram has MUCH higher specs.

dont like the interior, dont like the exterior. not enough gears in the trans. not the best ride. however i will make it sound like the greatest truck on earth if someone wants it. we dont sell many and we only have two on the lot.
