Default Read tire pressure from tire gauge or evic

My door says front tires 60 and back at 70. The evic is close and gives OK within range. Checking a tire gauge the difference is just a few pounds so I fill to 60 front and 70 rear cold tires by the evic - but i drive about 2 miles for the evic to read the tires right. Hook up the 5th wheel and roll and the tires warm and pressure rises 3-6 degrees. The question is - should I fill the tires low 5 pounds (or a few pounds less) to allow for the warming.? Everything I find says fill to the door rating when cold and nothing addresses the extra pressure as the tires warm. Hate to put 11,500 pounds on under inflated tires!
Thanks. Ed

I've always been told, and always have run with whatever the door recomends. I've pulled a lot of heavy loads with no issues, the temp of the tires will cause some changes in pressure but it's nothing to worry about. check em cold when you can and use a tire gauge to read pressure the tire sensors are close but not as good as the trusty ol'gauge.

Tire pressure is always filled/checked cold. They account for the pressure increase due to heat when they make those specs.

Thanks for the input. Until the evic I just used a gauge when cold but started wondering as I saw pressures rising on the evic. Pressures are close but I find I need to drive just a bit to get the evic to read correctly after I add air. Thanks.

Unless you have an expensive gauge that has had it's calibration verified, whose to say it's any more accurate than your evic? I would get a quality gauge and observe both.
