I would assume that this would work for HIDs since they are still controlled by the same knobs and whatnot in the truck.. essentially, only the headlights are replaced when one swaps OEM to HIDs, if I understand correctly.. so I think it should work. However, I am in no way a headlight expert so perhaps someone else may chime in here and verify one way or the other for you.
