Default Beach Driving

Newbie to the forum, here it goes >

Unfortunately hurricane sandy trashed my boat, but there are plenty of beaches where I live that allow 4x4 driving, which is what I plan on doing this summer, only problem is I'm running 305 45 r22 tires. I know that this is not great for driving through sand, especially deep sand. I'm sure plenty of ram guys are running this tire, but does anyone have experience driving on the beach with em? Can they be aired down??

To be more specific they are Nexen Roadian HP tires.

Thanks!
