Default Lost address book question/help

I have a 09 Laraime that came with factory nav unit. After manually inputting customers address into my address book for four years, I went out the other day and went to pull up my customer address in my nav unit and it said no entries available in folder. Four years it has worked great, now I have lost all my stored addresses ...not my stored pics, not my stored music files, just my address locations...anybody else ever have this problem...please help
Thanks

I can't believe nobody had this happen to them , believe me if there is any way to back up your stored files on your head unit you better do it or you will end up like me and have to manually add back in all your addresses ...what a pain!

i find that hard to believe, unless you accidentally deleted the file. I have no idea how it works, but it could still be there somewhere

I don't know how it could have happened either...I have been told it was probably some kind of glitch and that they are probably gone...I do not think I deleted them ...I have started the laborious task of manually inputting them back into the memory as I call on my customers each day...what a pain.
