If you're joking then ok but his truck has rear disc brakes. The drum and shoes are the parking brake. He again explained this above lol.

OKay.
Took the Laramie into the dealer for a "Pinion Nut Recall" Inspection. They initially indicated they would check it and then order the necessary parts. Turns out they had a "kit" in the Parts Dept that was ordered for someone who didn't keep their appointment, so they fixed my recall issue. Chrysler really left these guys out to dry by sending out the recall notices months before they were able to supply the dealerships with the parts necessary to correct the problem. Guy in parts said they were only allowed to order one kit every 7 days. Guess who gets the heat from the customers?

I still haven't received my secondary recall yet telling me that the parts are in but seeing how Im at 214xxxkm I think if it was to fail it would of by now.

Arth,

If that were my truck, and I was there taking pictures, they would be replacing the brake lines (never let the calipers hang on hoses) and a rear transmission seal, at the least, from the drive shaft hanging on the tail shaft.
