I ran a relay off the TIPM triggered by a keyed source to power aftermarket add ons such as my tuner. Definitely the best way to do it IMO. Not really needed if you only plan to run the Bully Dog though as the wire is only to tell the tuner to turn on with the key. I would use a test light under the dash to find keyed power. I ended up getting power from the 4wd switch for my relay. You could splice into that.
