Im gonna buy a hemifever tune for my diablo in the spring, But i still think the hypertech vs stock diablo is better for the money. Now i would surely hope that a hemifever tune would blow the doors off my hypertech.

After months of this being on my truck, with no additional knowledge of what other tunes do for you, I don't think Hypertech does anything special.

My thoughts are that HyperTech doesn't do much.

And if I ran a trinity it would have to be for FREE because the realization is that you can spend as much as you want, but moving a 7K LBS truck takes a LOT of MPG.

Even though this is a dated thread I found it most enlightening. I want to improve my throttle response but more importantly I want to better my MPG. The sooner the better.

Can anyone update their experience or add something new about the HyperTech Interceptor?

I got the Trinity 1000 for Xmas Gift. Put a 93 octane on the Trinity and its really nice punch with much more response on the low end with the 392. Throttle very smooth with what seems to be a faster shit too. Next I will purchase another Tune for it soon. Its nice tuner.

I bought the bulldog for mine. I found a guy selling one for 200. He had a 13 and bought a 14, 14 being another year they swapped programming. It unlocks many features such as the seat belt options and high beams with fog lights. After talking to a friend that works at a dodge dealer, he says that as long as the tune isn't on the computer, there is no way to tell if the computer has ever been tampered with. This leads me to think that it's only a scare tactic to keep you from getting a tuner. My step dad is using the interceptor on his with no issues. Most people prefer the Diablo sport because it has 3 canned tunes and accepts up to 5 custom tunes. And while their canned tunes are not supreme, Moe's Performance has a tune than can be purchased for $50 for the Diablo sport, which, from reading into, is the most Supreme tune for the ram.

Thanks for the info. Will try the Ram tune from Moe's. was not sure about tuners old school I guess until we tried this one. Next want one for the 14 Charger R/T not sure which tuner to put on it. The Trinity is great but may try a different one.

I'm not certain that's entirely true. I thought a dealer could see how many times a computer has been flashed. They wouldn't know what has been done and those flashes could have been them doing stuff as well.

Interceptor installed. My little girl is sleeping so haven't tested. I did start the engine to test for dash lights. So far so good!

I had a tuner that may have created an issue with my Ram, I set it all back to stock and they fixed everything under warranty, never a word said.
