A guy over at jeepgarage just installed one today and says it is a very noticeable difference in power and responsiveness. Ill be the judge sometime next week!

This is the way "Tuners" were before we had the technology to interface with the main ECU. Any of you "diesel" guys should be familiar with this.

Basically, this fools the ECU into thinking the incoming parameters are different than they really are and the ECU makes the changes, (which would be the same changes the newer tuners are make to the ECU when downloaded), that improve the horsepower and torque.

Not "Snake Oil" at all, just a rudimentary way to accomplish a similar goal. Should work as advertised. Good Luck and let us know.

Thats alot shit to disconnect to go to dealer and you still cant disable the mph limiter or rev limiter id myself would rather shell out the extra 100

I agree, but it does accomplish the goal it was intended to, not leave a trace in the ECU.

Like I was saying this is how the diesel trucks started out, so the dealers had to start tracking fuel / rail pressure and torque loads to prove that they were out of factory spec so they could deny warranty claims from the guys blowing their stuff up and try ing to get warranty to pay for it.

I was told directly from a dealer if your engine exceeds the factory set rev limiter the ecm records that. Top speed i would think possibly as well.

My dealer hooks up a bluetooth to the obd as son as u pull in. What it does aside from tell them mileage and vin i dunno.
