As far as spinning the tires a havent tried. The whole truck just performs much better. I have no experience with any tuner to compare. When i added the cai and mufflex there was no seat of the pants difference, this interceptor is a definate seat of the pants feel.

so no regrets and u would recommend this to someone looking for the same thing like i said i want a little more power and i can get my truck to light the tires up if i turn of traction control and put it in tow haul mode with my foot on the brake i guess i was wondering if it was enough of a power increase to somewhat overcome tm i dont really plan on doin alot of smoky burnouts but i figured if it gave enuf power to roast em of the line it would be a pretty decent gain over stock i am not really into racing my truck but i love putting my foot into it now and then just trying to get all the info before i make a somewhat educated buy thanx

For the money it is a real bargain compared to the prices of tuners. I would recommend this to anyone looking for results and a safer alternative to modifying there computer via a tuner. If i only had access to a dyno, i would love to do a side by side test with this vs a bully or diablo.

Let me know whenever you get a decent MPG results back, I'd love to see if the interceptor can really grant as big of a gain as they claim.

I want to see the plugs after 10k miles or so. That will tell the truth about what the product is doing.

Somebody should suggest it to Hypertech, if indeed there numbers are true and they haven't played with the dyno.....which is pretty easy to do, let me add. They should jump all over it. What better sales and marketing tool than to show how your product is cheaper and out performs the competitors product. They don't have to use trade names just say programmer B or programmer D and programmer H.

Maybe have an unbiased witness there to validate the test. Use an unbiased remote dyno of the highest quality and a uncompromisable staff to operate it. I'd love to see that. I chose the Hypertech Interceptor because of it reasonable price, highest hp and torque improvement, leaves no footprint in your stock computer and it's so easy to put in and take out when you go for emissions testing or to the dealer.

Is it our minds playing tricks that make us think it works and is giving us all this extra hp and torque? I've always suspected that of CAI's, you know, it sounds so good it must be faster. Or is it really doing what you paid for, to the degree they claim?

I'm just about to order the Hypertech Interceptor for my 2013 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Hemi. But be assured as soon as I find my Beltronics accelerometer I will do a bone stock 0-60 mph baseline and as I add products like the Hypertech Interceptor and the S&B CAI and true dual exhausts and even the rear air bags, which are supposed to enhance the trucks traction. Just to verify what each adds or subtracts from the trucks performance, if anything.

I guess I'm just skeptical when the manufacturer doesn't blow there own horn, when it would be so easy to do so if their product was all it's advertised to be.....Either that or they have a really shitty advertising department........ ya know what I mean.....

Let's face it the if product manufacturer proves his product is superior to
everybody else's, the only way the others will sell their products is to cut the price to the level they warrant for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.....right.

EZ

so are u happy with the hyper tech and u felt a definte gain also i was wondering i heard somewhere that eventually the computer will try to compensate and revert back to stock settings thus losing the origanal power gained not sure if i beleive this or not if some one could absolutly guarantee that a bullydog is totally untraceble (hard edvidence not just say so) i wud pop on it but i am very interested in this just because once removed there is no evidence thanx
