Stock 20" wheels/tires RCX leveling kit/body lift:

Ride quality is unchanged, I do get a front end vibration in 4x4 with rapid acceleration..no vibration under normal acceleration. Make sure you get an alignment after the work. The body lift takes time and requires cutting the rear bumper and drilling some 1/2 dia holes that are a pain in the butt. Taking your time, 4 to 6 hours minimum. You also have to leave the bottom fan shroud off.

Ok I have a question for anyone can you put the Bilstine 5100 adjustable or the air bags up front to get 3" and out back have the springs rearked 3" ?
I have a 2500 Cummings I also have the spacers up front.
What would be the effects of this set up ?

I as well am doing the rc combo deal. i looked around and talked to my buddies who all have lifted trucks. Same as you i only need it for when i go upstate or to Vermont, and i don't like that the front of the truck is sitting low. Now i love the stock rims on my sport. might get them powder coated down the road, my question is should i put wheel spacers from rough country on? i heard numerous things bad about wheel spacers but i don't want to put different rims on. Anyone have advice that will either make me feel better about putting spacers on or steer me away and push me towards new rims. i defiantly want to do an offset of some sort. And whats a good Fender company also?

You will not be able to powdercoat those rims because the are plastic covered. Cheap in my opinion. I wasn't impressed with Dodge on that when I bought mine.

I'm not so concerned about the truck truly being level, I kinda like the rake to be honest.

If you're only leveling, rear shocks shouldn't be a concern....

Like I said, I haven't had any problems with CV shaft vibration or anything like that. I know some people have, but it isn't very common. Yes, it might be a little bit harder on the front suspension (very minimal), but it's worth it for how much better your truck will look.

I recommend getting the Bilstein 5100 adjustable front struts. Definitely the way to go! Provides you with different height options and gives you better struts than stock. Plus you can always use them if you decide to lift the truck later on down the road to gain even more lift.
Hi. Type to u from Russia. People who did a lift(2-2.5) all have a problem with 4wd(auto). All heve a vibration. I did RC suspension lift 2.5 then changed it on bilstein 5100 with lift 2.1. All the same.( vibration)
What shall i do? Help

I have a ready lift 2" front level on my 4wd. Rides stock and haven't notice any vibration in 4wd auto, lock, or low.

Did you get the leveling kit done. I am planning on doing mine but I wanted to see how it looks first. Do you have any pics if you did it?
