Bad truck for sure. I think an exo would look sweet on it.

Get the DOM ordered out!! Don't mess the cab up anymore. hahahah

i'd like to know the specs on the front coilovers.

I'd like to suggest getting that spare tire more to the rear for CG purposes.

Here's me this past Saturday on a mild trail. This was the hardest obstacle where it's got a potentially nasty off camber turn to it. However, I took the DODGE line and not the Jeep line. It's nothing spectacular, but at least to show you where I'm currently at.

Ya it seems like by the time I build it there won't be anything left to protect. If the tube wasn't so expensive (almost 2g's with the die landed)it would be done already.Oh well I'll get to it eventually.I can't move the tire back because thats where the most important piece of equipment I have goes (the BEER cooler) By the way nice truck!!

Where's the specs on the coilovers?

I think you can get creative with the cooler/spare location.

Thanks. This past weekend went on the first portion of the Fordyce Creek Trail with some buddies. Did the easy parts to introduce the family to their first trail ride. Had the better half out learning and spotting for the very first time....it was a success!

That's good to hear, wheeling is definitely more fun with the family.Coilovers are 16" travel dual rate FOA's.I forget the spring rate and valving they're old as dirt, they've been on the truck through 2 different axles & link setups. I bought them on a budget when I built my first suspension on the truck and told myself I'd change them when they broke(I've got bumps stops but haven't put limit straps yet)but 5 years later they're still holding up.

Roger that. The green one I posted in the other thread is running 17" 9100s. They barely fit up in there. I'm sure you are pretty tight too.

My thought is to go 14" and consider offsetting them down an inch or so for added downtravel. This coupled with the axle being moved forward, which is always an incumbent modification. Let me know if you recall any thoughts from your build up, since it's been awhile.

Edit: actually, in this pic of yours it looks like you offset down too. Or at least it's not as tall in the engine bay like the green one. I'd be interested in the dimension from the top mounting eye to the bottom eye on the shock if you don't mind.

Honestly I wouldn't go less than 16" if you're gona spend the cash on coilovers.Mine measure out at 31" eye to eye with 6" of stickout (uptravel) at ride height and are mounted on top of the axle(no offset).my front axle is stretched 6"-8" forward and there's 25" of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the chassis in the middle of the truck with the 43's(just to give you an idea how tall my rig is).In my first set up I kept my steering box(unmoved but with a different pitman arm)and was still able to stretch the front axle forward 3"-4" with no issues here's a pic(sitting low with the same shocks, same stickout on 39" boggers)it still sort of had the full body back then.Let me know if you need any more info.
