Got some parts today! Unfortunately there was a mix up with my drive shaft flanges so I have to hold up on the install, but I'll post pics when I receive all the parts. On a side note, I'm quite pleased with the Alcan springs. They seem very soft and well made (well priced too). I will be installing them soon as well as an anti wrap bar and will post some pics soon.

Side by side with my moded np231d, little bit of a weight diference.

Custom springs, nice military wrap on them.

Congratulations Tedd!! Looking forward to seeing you get this all in.

What are the specs of your Atlas?

I request info on the modded 231D tcase!! I've not come across that before and not sure why!?!?! That could help me out until I get my own tcase upgrade..... lol

Thanks!

Thanks wh1t3nukle, atlas ratios are 1:1, 2.72:1, 4.3:1, 11.70:1. I'll probably never use the 11.7:1 but I really wanted at least a 4:1 option so that's what best fit my needs. As for modding your 231d give JB conversions a call. With a wide chain kit and a 6 pinion planetary (cost about $500)your 231d will be just as strong as a 241d with the exception of the 26 spline front output shaft, no way to upgrade that. The slip yoke eliminator and drive shaft will cost a you a little less, but in my opinion just save your cash for a gear driven t-case.

Atlas is in after spacer and flange issues (love my gearing options). Having clearance issues with the rear crossmember / suport though. Springs are also in but(you guessed it) having clearance issues with the shackles. It's custom( that means it won't bolt right in) springs are 2" longer than my last set and a bit softer. That means I'm hoping that all I have to do is make longer shackles. Can someone show me how to upload pics from my I-phone? If so please P.M. me and teach me how! Pics coming soon. Thanks

I thought you modded the rear output using the slip yoke. I see now that you just unbolted the slip yoke from your DS and left it in the tcase. lol Indeed I've looked at those options, yet it just seemed to always get put off. Instead, I just recently spied and good deal on a RockTrac Tcase. Got it last week and very excited. Now it's DS thing to work out and a CAD thing since the 1 ton axles are far from ready. Before this deal came along, I had my option down to an Atlas and the ORD Magnum+np205. I still have an option to double up down the road.

For your new rear springs are you considering moving the front hangers for them? Buddy of mine did when he put chevy 63" in. That included RuffStuff Reverse Shackle Flip on the rear, 6" shackles. He did have to use the factory block.

Unclear about the Atlas issues.

I use photobucket.com. I'm sure iPhone has an app for it.

1. Take picture with phone
2. Upload to your photobucket account. Organize into various albums and privacy settings.
3. For each image a URL is generated. Copy that and post here. Over time you'll figure out various other options. This process will be similar to imageshack, flickr, picasa, etc.

Well we took the rig out the other day and beat on it a little, it was real wet and muddy (sorry no pics, last minute thing)Gearing options helped a lot. Needless to say I definitely need an anti wrap bar. I think I have everything I need to fab one up except time. I will post pics when I figure out what I' m gona do.
