Default Test Drives

As some of you know, and most of you don't, I started a new job as a car salesman at a local Nissan dealer. Well after a week of training they sent me into the lot to test drive all of the new models so I can relate my training to the real world. Much to my chagrin this meant getting in the Titan as well. First off the 370Z and the Maxima SV are awesome cars. Fun to drive and they get up and go. The car that suprised me the most was the Juke. That little car is sneaky quick. The Titan was a joke. The cab was pretty cramped, know that I am 6'3'' 320. I just didn't like it overall, but I guess I am partial.

The titan is something else isn't I think I would be partial as well so how was the 370Z? did you get to drive the manual or the automatic? call me later if you get a chance.

Thanks
Jeremiah

The Titan is junk. The 370 was a 7 speed auto. It was pretty effen tight on the inside but man did she haul some ass.

Congrats on the job!! My question is how are you going to sell the Titan when you feel it is a sub par product?!?!? I guess it is all what the customer is looking for.

he is going to have to sell it on its strong points, such as reliability (Basic Powertrain hasn't been updated since like 2004) Base Engine Power (5.6L V8 with 317 HP and 385 lb ft of torque), Show off the Pro-4X model with the Rockford Fosgate, and its reputated to have the best chassis in the Full size segment, Good resale value, etc.

I prefer the Ram, but The Titan has some strong points that I prefer over the Tundra.

I will sell anything anyone wants. We only have one new Titan on the lot, not many people come in looking for them. We do have a used Pro-4x that is pretty nice.

Just depends on what you want. The one we have with the 7 speed auto and the paddle shifters stickers for like 45 and change.
