All seriousness, as mentioned, this will happen to any brand. I just came from a Ford, a '10 SuperCrew, and I have to say, despite that tired old 5.4, that thing really never let me down and was tank tough! Pulled my camper along fine, not real fast, but fine. It rode like a bale wagon and steered like a battleship and was just overall uncomfortable to travel in though.

Brand loyalty only means that you will miss out on appreciating some really fine machines from the other side. I am in a Ram now because the Laramie was what I was after for looks and power and wasn't interested in the Eco or 6.2L. Both great trucks, but it was the number of threads (including this) talking about all the major failures and problems with the Eco that steered me away from that little engine. They'll get it right sooner or later.
