Default Bilstein 5100 Problem...

Ordered the full set, adjustable in the front. Went to install tonight, borrowed spring compressors and garage space, made lots of progress. Drivers side went on no problem(some PITA, but no real problems). Pass side out, disassembled, go to reassemble....NO SNAP RING!! You know, the little tiny ring that sets the height and holds up the sleeve/lower spring mount? The second shock, new out of the box, had no freaking snap ring on the body, not loose in the box, not hiding in the little bag with the sleeve and the nut/washer, nowhere. So now I'm borrowing a car and my truck is up on stands. Following up with the seller and probably bilstein as well first thing in the morning, but I'm guessing I can't get something shipped before monday. Anyone have some extra snap rings laying around? Or know a company that stocks them? Even maybe a whole new shock. I'm in the south jersey/philadelphia area...and I was really hoping to use my truck this weekend. Help!

That sucks, I had issues with my bilstein 5100 install on the front. Passenger side went on fine with no issues but the driver side was a nightmare! Got everything disconnected but for the life of me, I could not get the shaft of the upper ball joint out of the spindle! I followed the instructional video on YouTube to the tee. A little WD-40, couple hits on the side of the spindle with the hammer and a block of wood then a couple downward kicks at the hub to knock the shaft out of the spindle. Worked on the first side but second side would not come off for anything. In conclusion I was left with a upper ball joint that became unseated from the upper control arm and in turn made me have to borrow my buddy's car till I could get the upper ball joint tack welded to the upper control arm to hold it till the new upper control arm and ball joint came in a week later (the dealer only sells the upper ball joint with the upper control arm already pressed in it). I felt horrible because the truck only had 1700 miles on it and I already had to pay to get a new upper control arm and ball joint
