Default New Cab Lights

Just installed new cab lights I bought tonight from Harbor Freight, $12 and fairly well made. I of course tinted them before installing, Dropped the headliner in front and found stock location holes to drill and install lights. Turned out nice, total of 3 hours to tint and install. Hooked up to headlight switch via fuse so they run with the headlights or running lights.

My headliner is only held up by the pillar posts and center console ( domelight in rear as well as plastic quarter panels ) I removed the pillar covers and center console and pulled it down enough to work with and not bend the headliner shell. You will see the round quarter sized holes where the wires will run, I put a drywall screw in a pair of vice grips and pushed up in the center of the hole to dent the surface to find the locations then drill through to run the wires. ( funny since I marked the locations first and I was only off a quarter of and inch before I pulled the liner down as I didnt know, it was a 1 in a million chance this would ever happen again...lol ) I slid a 1 X 4 in to protect the liner while drilling through. Make sure to pull the wire harness down, I didnt and when mounting the lights with self drilling/tapping screws the forward ones will hit the harness (opps) I protected the harness from the screws with wire looms when I put the liner back up. I found a nice sun roof for $30, think Im gonna snag it up and install as well.

Just a couple rough pics of the sunroof location for now.. I will do a write up on the mounting when I attempt it soon. it is 36" wide and 16-1/2" long about an inch thick...

What did you use to tint the cab lights?
