Default ARH Headers (w/cats)

I was in the local dealership lately picking the parts guy's brain (Mostly looking to order the ARH headers). He felt that installing them would lead to serious warranty repercussions (nowhere did he say that the DEALERSHIP had a problem with them, just that in the event of power-train issues, Chrysler would likely deny coverage).

Does anyone have firsthand experience with this?

I have never heard of any issues with this, that does not mean that they wouldn't though, I have shorties on mine with alot more mods than just exhaust and cai, and my dealer has never said anything about voiding the warranty to me.

Thanks

they would have to prove that whatever mod was the cause of the failure.

I just had a transmission replaced on mine and I have long tunes and no cats. The service manager said something about them causing more work getting the trans out but i just chuckled and said yeah and?

It should only void the warranty on your OE headers.

I had a complete engine replaced under warranty without any problems.(other than how long it took) My truck had cold air kit, headers, as well as a custom dual exhaust so I wouldn't worry about it.

Question for those of you with ARH long tube headers. .. What have you done to keep your shifter cable from getting burned up? I tried to tie it back but that failed.
