Default Need help deciding on bakflip VP or undercover flex

Hey guys,
I have a 2013 1500 crew cab big horn 5.7 bed... I'm trying to decide on a tonneau cover. Got it narrowed Down to a bakflip VP and a undercover flex. The overall look of it once installed is my main concern, I don't know if I would like the look of the hard top of the undercover flex over the hard yet vinyl look of the VP. Anyone got any pictures of their RAM with either of these covers??

Any help/pictures/suggestions would be GREAT!!

I'm going to be ordering the Bakflip VP. I like the clean look of the VP better than the Flex and I like the way the tonneau cover rests against the back of the cab when you have a full load. They both seem really easy to use though. Seems to be good prices on both and they get good reviews on many sites. Good luck with your decision.

fudrock,

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. Your truck looks awesome with the VP on back. Did you have to do any trimming or fitting with the rubber near the tailgate? The only complaints I see online have to deal with that aspect of the VP, but it doesn't seem like a widespread issue.

Thanks!

Nope, no trimming needed though there is a little bit of overlap on the corners. It doesn't bother me and I think it may help with the cover's weather-worthiness.

Here's a quick writeup I posted when I received the cover.

Thank you so much for the info and write up. That helped "seal the deal" with deciding to go with the VP!

I will definitely post some pics when it comes in. The copperhead pearl color was the first thing that drew me to the 2013 Ram 1500. It'll be interesting driving around Nebraska with a nice Texas Longhorn decal in the rear window.
