Cool 6" RCX Lift

Finally got my baby lifted! I never realized how much different my truck would look with a lift before. I used to get compliments here and there, but now I catch people staring as I drive by all the time. I love it! Now I'm trying to decide if I want to put 37s on her. What gearing would I need to maintain some kind of gas mileage? I have 3.92 now. I'm sure I'll be posting more pictures soon. I have a few more mods sitting at the house waiting to be installed. Just have to find the time.

dayyyummm. Looks good. I'm eyeballin this lift here in the near future. Looks bigger than some of the other 3rd gens with 6" lift, guess it varies truck to truck. I'd still rather go 6" than 4" and regret it. 35's don't look terrible either.

Love the bumpers too!

Also, is that just the lift? and it came out level? It's hit or miss whether these RCX kits level (it says they are supposed to) cuz I'll have to lower my bilsteins once I install.

I have Bilsteins on it too, and I'm not sure if they lowered them any when they installed the kit. Sometimes it looks like the front sits a little higher, so I don't think they did. Then again it could just be that where I park it isn't level lol. 35s don't look bad at all, but with all the black it kinda makes them look smaller than they are from a distance. I need new front tires, so I have to make a decision pretty quick. I'll probably just stick with 35s for now because I'm gonna install a roof rack, so I can carry a spare tire up top and not use up any space in the bed. I travel a lot for work, so it's nice to be able to load up the bed and lock the bed cover if I have to run in anywhere.

I have the same set up with the 35 and the 3.92s. Im averaging 15-16 combines fuel economy and use a superchips flashpaq tuner. I can still smoke my tires whenever I want. The mpgs really arent too bad for a lifted truck.

And the truck is supposed to sit level. RCX lifts are botched a lot of the time and they dont always sit level but when installed correctly they are supposed to sit level.

cool man thanks. That's why I was confused cuz RCX says the kit levels, but I see trucks with guys saying they had to add bilsteins to level it. Well I already have the bilsteins so it won't much matter, just gotta find that right setting

Yeah my MPG didn't drop much from before the lift, so I'm pretty happy about that. Just feels a little sluggish taking off from a rolling start sometimes. I'm way overdue for a tuneup, so that could have a lot to do with it. I do a lot of driving on the interstate for work because I work in Oklahoma and live in Arkansas, so anything that helps boost my MPG is worth it to me. I can't really complain though since I don't have to pay for most of my gas. I already have SC, CAI, and exhaust. Thinking about doing some more upgrades to gain some more power..
