Default Bumper for a 2012 dodge

Hey guys I'm new to dodge but not off roading. I bought a brand new dodge single cab 4x4 I don't plan on going missing in it bc I have other toys for that but I do want a different bumper since I don't have tow hooks in the front of mine. What bumper would y'all recommend. I want it to look good but be functional also as far as winch mount and and shackle mounts. Thanks for any input.

You looking for 1500 or 2500?

I'm not a huge fan of aftermarket bumpers on 1500's, to me it's just to much weight. I even opted out of a replacement for my 2500 due to weight (It cuts into your towing fairly quick if you don't pay attention).

I'm looking for one for a 1500. Personally I think my truck looks good like it is now but there aren't tow hooks to pull on from the front unless they are somewhere idk about. I just don't want to get stuck and the plastic front bumper end up being a casualty in the rescue.

See mine nor brothers have those. We both have 2012 slt single cabs. We just have a black skirting and after crawling underneath the truck and looking there is nothing for pulling. I did notice a 3x3 square tube welded to frame that comes straight down. It has a hole in the bottom threaded for what looks like a 3/4 inch bolt but idk what the purpose of it is for. There is one on both sides. Are the tow hooks on your truck welded to the frame or bolted on somewhere?

Never mind. After a little research I found you buy them and install yourself. Il add that to the list of soon to comes. Now that I will have tow hooks I won't worry about a bigger bumper. Thanks for the help.

That's kind of scary, my grill guard weighs more than that lol (140 shipped, assuming around 120)
