Default Painted my grill today!

I've had the truck less than a week and its already been bugging me what i can do to be unique. So i painted my grill...I dont like chrome only in little tid bits so this is about the only chrome that will be on the truck

looks good dude...hard to tell from the picture..did you only paint the backside of the grill ?

I think he painted the front, just the small line, looks white or gray. Great work, but for me I think your truck looks good with the all black grilling

Yeah im not a huge chrome fan but the pictures do not give it justice, i painted just the front face so it had some nice black contrast

That turned out really good and thinking about doing something similar. I am getting the western brown and since its an outdoorsman it has a color matched grill. Most of the inserts aren't for the 2013 since they have slightly different grills.

How did you paint it?

I was thinking of buying mesh and taking the grill apart and making my own inserts.

All i did was go to an auto store and pick up some interior chrome spray paint spray it in a touch up paint container with a brush and just brush the outer edge...but i removed the entire grill as it was easier than trying to remove just the honeycomb, sanded the outer edge so the paint could stick, sprayed the paint in the container, and tediously painted the front face of the grill, clear coated and re-installed
