Our salesman told my wife today that he was going to ask the dealership manager to forece the change of the TRS. We'll see what happens, I guess they need to order one. We cant let them have the truck again until next week anyway. Thank you for the bulletin.

Do you recommend this flash procedure AND a new TRS?

I think you are correct on thier fears. The salesman asked us to not communicate with the mechanic directly anymore.

I seriously appreciate the help I'm getting here, I just paid up for a 12 month Level 1 supporter.

I would think the flash has most likely been done, or at least it should have been by now. In the mean time, I would advise you contact Chrysler Customer Service at 800-CHRYSLER and get them involved. I believe you've been more than patient up to this point and deserve some action.

They ordered the TRS today and want the truck Monday. We'll let them have this last chance before pushing harder since they finally caved and ordered the sensor. I will show them the bulletin you sent me. We have asked to see the old sensor as our trust is eroding.

Well, were hoping beyond all hope, I think. The mechanic called and said he just got back from a test drive. He shut it off and started it again. HE SAID HE "THINKS" IT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED AGAIN BUT HES NOT SURE!!! I brought it home, I will never set foot in that building again. I need to lay down for a while to calm down.

Anyway, my selling dealership USED to be Solomon Dodge in Carmichaels, Pa. 15320.

Not sure? What the...? Either it starts or it doesn't. Is there another dealer within a reasonable distance you can try?

That's my next plan of action. I'll drive it for a few days to see how many times it fails to start. For all I know the mechanic at Solomon just said that to be a smart you know what. There are two other dealerships nearby. I know the service manager at one from dealing there in the past. Although it will have to exhibit the symptoms for them at least one time, this seems to be the rule in most places.

Just tried it in the driveway, no start. Does that rule out the TRS? Or did all of the linkage adjustments they made screw it up in other ways? Just wondering.

I would think that's going to rule out the TRS at this point. I'd love to be able to see the TCM data when this is happening.

Agreed it rules out the TRS, if they actually changed it and at thids point I could believe they didn't. I just talked with Chrysler Customer Support. They found my truck in thier system but could find no record of any of my service visits entered there. I just filled out the necessary form on the Pa Better Business Bureau for my selling dealership. I dont really want anything else done there, just wanted to get them on record.
