Default Motor swap need help

My truck blew the motor, I believe it spun a bearing then broke a connecting rod and blew a hole through a piston. I bought a 318 from a '99 1500. Wisdom
Question I have is, can I direct swap my '97 318 over to the '99 318? If not, what parts or pieces will I need to transfer or buy to make it work correctly? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I should add, I'm planning on doing this tomorrow.

You shouldn't need to do anything but transfer existing parts from one engine to the other.

That's what I thought, but I was given the full wiring harness off of the '99 and the fuse box isn't the same, as in its bigger and has more to it, and the alternator on the '99 is a plug in style. Just want to make absolute sure that it'll be a smooth transfer.

Just do a typical long block swap and you should be fine.

Consisting of what exactly? I bought a high volume oil pump, motor oil, power steering fluid, oil pan gasket and some cleaners for the motor.
