Dealer here in Wichita gave the Lifetime PowerTrain warrenty during a sales push earlier this year, for 800.00 you got the LfetimeBumper To Bumper coverage for everything except wear items. i got it on both our 13,s an will run them till they wont run anymore or the wife or i die, no more new vechiles. i had to replace turbo charger on PowerStroke under extended warrenty, 100.00 price of replacement on it alone covered the premium for it, add 6injecters and pump it was a bargin.

Inspection for lifetime warranty
I had read on another post that the lifetime warranty has specific inspections at either a certain mileage or timeframe and if you do not schedule this inspection by itself you void the warranty. I do not know if this is accurate but you may want to check. I had a 2006 BMW with bumper to bumper till 100,000 miles and it was nice to just drop it off when some oddball misc electronic gizmo that costed an arm and a leg went out. I plan on getting the lifetime warranty since I plan on keeping the truck long term. I am also planning on getting the air suspension and 8.4an and I am betting those two things will make the warranty pay for itself.
I am planning on paying my truck off early and unload it as quick as possible. Love the truck but there is just way to much crap that can go wrong. Would be a mistake IMO if you didn't get and extended warranty if you intended to keep it.
