that is what I paid too, but seems they bumped it up a bit, not saying you can't still get it for 2185

FYI I tried http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com/ . Looks like Lifetime warranty is only for Gas Engines. No Diesel.

Got 84 month/ 75000 mile for 1887 at dealer.

I purchased the Lifetime warranty (100$ deductable) for $2130 re my 2013 Longhorn for the 8.4 and air suspension systems - these items will cost a bundle to repair in the future and will be hard to fix yourself.

I got the bumper-to-bumper 5yr/100k extended warranty when I purchased, and I just called with my first issue and they say my roof leak is not covered. I have no sunroof, but I think the side channels/seals on my roof are letting water in. I'm trying to get more details from them on the plan I purchased, but so far I'm bummed.

I just read earlier in the thread "things not covered... including soft trim."

I'm trying to get more details.

It's a 2013 with 40k miles.

It might help those of you who DID opt for a warranty to state the kind of mileage you put on in a year and how much money the warrant yhas saved you in repairs and at what mileage.......

I am deciding whether to get the max care or "plus" plan thru Chrysler for my 2012.....has 21,300 on her now and just about to run out of the 3/36....

I put on about 7k a year......for me the only warranty that seems to make sense is the 7 year/60k warranty since that would take me to 4 years from now. Around $1,100 with a $100 deductible for MAX care I think it was.

On one hand, its like paying for problems you haven't had yet, and might never. My wife's last two cars had extended warranties on them and we never used them....problems happened just AFTER warranty ended, including a major A/C issue with our Sonata at like 105k miles (100k warranty).

On the other hand you never know when something will go bad....on her Mustang, we decided against the extended warranty and a few weeks after a HVAC system actuator motor died.....it was only a $20 part but a hassle for us to fix......and then a limp-home situation that we figured out on our own....all just after the 36k mile warranty ended.

So how do you know. LOL

Seems like most problems would START around 45k or so which is when this would be running out for me....

How many folks have actually had major repair bills (or even medium ones) before they hit 40-45k???

You need to fight that IMHO.....if you had a sunroof maybe I could see that as being a "soft part"...as in a seal....but the ROOF is leaking because of a defective assembly of the roof to the cab...unless its caused by the leaky high stop light....in which case its caused by the light assembly....

I had to fight chrysler years ago when water got into a wiring harness and caused corrosion, supposedly...they refused coverage, saying it was not covered because it was a corrosion issue and corrosion is not covered....

I argued that the harness was defective because where the corrosion was was a supposeldy sealed portion of the harness....had it not been defective water could not get in....ipso fatso it is a covered defect.....a few choice words were exchanged but the dealer covered it.
