Default Sportwing Body side molding installed

Havent seen anyone post any pics of these yet, I park in a lot with compact car size spaces and and after my third trip to the PDR guy I decided to put something on there. I was going to order the mopar chrome ones but I think I have too much chrome already, so I tried these pained to match Sportwings out from eBay.

IMO it kind of breaks up the side nicely and doesnt stand out much. Naturally they wont stop all the dings from different doors but if it stops two they will pay for themselves (133.00). Paint match is as close as you can get which helps.

Nice job! IMO those look way better painted than in chrome

Being from the DC area I know how you feel. In parking lots with small spaces I like to park between the smallest/lowest cars I can find, that way if they opt to swing their door wide they can meet my step bar instead of my door!

Yea, the step bars take care of some of the smaller cars but with so many SUVs around they arent 100% effective for sure. Where I park (govt lot) if you park over the line a couple times they will take my permit away. My tires are on both lines so parking is a PITA anyhow. Once in a while I can find an end spot but not often.

One day I'll make something like those AMP powered steps that when you park and lock the doors they fold up and act as door guards

Those actually look very clean, can you take a pic down the side so we can see how far they stick out?

They are curved, maybe 3/16 at the center and 1/8" at the end and are 2.5" tall, they dont stick way out.

Thanks I didn't think they were that thin, but hard to beat that price.
