Default Level Front....

Do most of you Ram owners level front end to get away from that "rake" look. Owned a HUMMER before this and with GM all you had to do was turn the torsion bar a few cranks. Is there a kit that has to be purchased to level, how much, and is it avail. at Dealer. Thanks

The 1500 Rams have a strut suspension on the front, no torsion bars. There are many companies out there that make spacers that simply bolt on top of the strut. I got mine from Hellbent Steel for $80. That's about the cheapest way you can go. However since you have an outdoorsman you don't want to go with a 2.5" leveling spacer. The outdoorsman struts are already set higher than the standard. You'd want to stick to a 2" spacer if that's the route you want to take. Now that being said, I recommend going with the Bilstein 5100's. They are an adjustable strut that allows you to set the height you want. It's essentially the best way to level the new 1500's but you also pay a little bit more for it. Contact Jeremiah (jhinkle1989) at Discount Auto Performance. He'll get you the best pricing for the Bilsteins.
