Default Which Fender Flares?

I'm pretty new posting on here but I was looking to put on some fender flares this coming Spring and wanted some opinions on which everyone thought might look best on my truck and also would they look best in the natural black the flares come in or would they look better painted to match the truck? Thanks for your thoughts guys.

My vote is for BushWacker pocket flares if you need a set let me know I would be more than happy to get you the best pricing around.

Thanks

I'd measure how far your tires stick out from your body and get a flare that closely matches that distance, it just looks cleaner IMO. A flare that is too big for your tires looks stupid. It's hard to tell from your pictures but it looks like you still have the OEM rims so I'm guessing your tires dont stick out too far. The bushwackers pocket styles stick out 2.5" so if you're close to that, then I'd get them. If you're less than that then I'd look at at others.

I would paint them to match your body color, it'll tie in nicer IMO.

^ Definitely also agree with this. But if you get the pocket style flares which do give an extra 2.5" of coverage you could always run some wheel spacers to make it look right.

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys. I am still on the stock 20" rim so my tires really do not stick out more than an inch I'd guess right now but I'll need to measure later on tonight. I do like the pocket style that I've seen on other trucks but Rayne is right about sticking with a clean look because if there's one thing I really like are pieces that all work together.

Can't help you on which flares but I go with match the paint. I'm looking at getting flares; 1) I love the look, 2) my tires love throwing rocks at my truck I've noticed. When I get mine I'm doing matching my truck which is silver, think it looks a lot nicer when colored match.

Ya definitely. Putting black flares on a coloured truck looks really cheap to me. Colour matched is the way to go!
