Question City MPG, Hwy MPG, No Difference???

Not really a complaint but I noticed that on the highway my mpg does not go up. On the plus side, I'm getting 15+ mpg around town with my hemi so I can't complain too much, but that number doesn't increase for highway trips.

Anyone else experience this?

Are you checking the mpg off the EVIC or actual pump differences? On my 2013 Ram Express C.C. 4X4 with 10k miles, 5.7 Hemi, my city milage is mid to high 15's city, highway low to mid 19's, driving about 5-7 miles over limit on highway and mostly at or little below speed limits in city. Don't know your driving habits but you should be getting higher mpg on highway.

Same truck as you..i'm just going by the EVIC so far...Speed limit here in Kansas is 75 on the highway...So i consider 17mpg decent at that speed..but to and from work about 9 miles there and 9 back...15ish with a light foot. I'm not complaining

Check by manual calculations, if the EVIC has not been reset for awhile it takes a long time to Change since it's an average since the last reset. Mine definitely does better on the highway by a huge margin.

My EVIC says 12.7 average mph after 2900 miles. I do 90% city driving with a light foot. My 4x4 crew cab is stick with 3.21 gears. Before winter fuel EVIC said about 15. Most guys are getting better than me, but it's a full size truck.

Hey, you sound like me talking! I'm in KS, go a little less than 9 miles to work, and get 15-ish for mileage! Are you my twin?

I think the best I got was 93 MPG. Of course that was after I entered a mile long downhill, shifted into neutral and coasted. After I had to reengage the transmission, it shot down to 9MPG.

I have a 13 hemi 6 speed 4x4 and I get around 14 to 15 in town but will get around 17 on the interstate and I run about 75MPH. Best mileage I have seen so far was a trip from Kentucky to Pensacola back in July which I averaged the whole trip 17.9 and that was a lot of stop and go sight seeing type of driving. On the way home I was tired and running 80 to 85 MPH too so I am sure that didn't help but 17.9 according to EVIC which I reset prior to leaving wasn't bad in my eyes.
