Default Door Weather Stripping

If this is the wrong place to post I apologize, just couldn't find where to put it. Ok, I have noticed on both of my front doors on my QC between the Windshield and Door and up a ways there is a gap kinda like the door was oversized. Is there supposed to be a molding or stripping runner for the edge of the doors. Reason is its all fine when its raining it keeps it out as long as i am parked. But when I am driving its like the wind catches that gap and want to pull the door away from the inner sripping causing water leaks. Is this normal with our trucks or am I actually missing some sort of piece. Its snowing like crazy here ill try to get a good pic

Is there like a very "skinny" piece of medal in that gap that runs from the bottom to the top? If so what you are missing is the piece of plastic that snaps on there. If not then i am clueless. Hope this helps

Thanks

No metal, its the gap and about 1" down in the weatherstripping is visible, I thought there was supposed to be a secondary weatherstripping runner or plastic/metal molding to divert the wind to prevent it from pulling the doors outward. Maybe anyone who reads this thread could shoot me some pics of where the door meets the windshield to see if its a rubber stripping or plastic molding. Or maybe a part# and Part Name.

OK, I decided to drive up to the Dodge dealer today and I ask them about the particular area where i was getting rained on and wind noise when driving highway speeds. He mention that Its the weatherstripping and Dodge has issued a TSB on what I am describing. Hopefully by friday Ill have my weatherstripping and see if that cures the problem. Thanks for the help

No I had to pay for it, but the question did arise why i had to, but was told I had waited to long.

Here are the part numbers for the secondary Weather Stripping. Ones for the right and the other is for left cant remember which was which but it fixed my issue of wind noise and water leaks.

So I searched and searched for a solution and finally solved my wind noise issue. There is a defect in the original design of not only the doorseals but also the seal mount where the door meets the windshield. Both replaced and my Ram is now quiet and I will not have to bend my doors, only to have to keep bending them because the gap between the door and windsheild alows air to push the top of the door outward.

Mopar Part 55277186AD 55277186AD 1 50.66
WINDSHIELD MOLDING

Mopar Part 55277187AD 55277187AD 1 50.66
WINDSHIELD MOLDING

Both of these parts should be replaced and the final result will look like the image
I've added.

Mine looks nothing like this. The sides of my windsheild have a hard rubber turned inward toward the 1st weatherstrip before the door seal weatherstrip. I can actually put my hand inbetween the windsheild and door. I've been tryn to find where to get these seals everywhere online. My dads 08 quad cab does have these seals. Is it the 02 - 04's that don't have them?
