Default Moes 87mm TB in waiting on catch can.

So I went ahead and grabbed one of the Moes 87mm TB's and installed it today. The install is super simple, maybe took 5 minutes to put in and you only need a screw driver and a socket / ratchet.

Didn't notice anything on the way home tonight because of the traffic in Northern Virginia but we shall see.

Love mine. Put the gas to the floor and you'll feel a huge difference. Plus I'm getting about 1mpg better fuel economy. Get that catch can on ASAP! Dumped about a inch of oil outta mine after the first 400 miles.

I ordered the catch can as well but received an email yesterday it is 2 weeks out on back order. I noticed oil on the back side of the TB when I took off the stock one.

2005-2011 Dodge RAM Billet Catch Can 5.7L HEMI Engine Z-mount (All 5.7L RAMS)

Search ebay for the above. I got tired of waiting for billet technologies version and frankly I'm glad. These are so much better with screens and filters to assist in collecting the oil and not allowing it to get sucked back up.

Hard to explain but look at the parts breakdown on the listing and than go look at how the typical billet technologies version is built...big difference. I plain to pull that one (BT version) off the SRT and replace it (with the above) as well.

BTW - offer $93.49 - they will take it and you'll have the can in three or four days because they actually stock them :-)

I noticed with the s&b intake the vent line runs back into the box to get re filtered. Do you still need the catch can. And are they easy to install. Thanks
I didn't find the moes did much for me. See what happens with few days of use.

I'm not sure what you mean about the S&B routing back?

The vent runs back into the air box. Not back to the front of the intake tube.

I'm running S&B also. Does this mean I don't need a catch can?

I'm confused
