Thumbs up

I do not know if I am allowed to post this here or not.
I guess they will just delete this post if they do not like it.

Hearing Lee tell me, do not worry Rei, I will make this right for you. It was amazing!

Lee has been nothing but amazing from the first day I called and asked if he can help me with a Ram.

But this is the information for Lee and the Dealership.

That's where I just ordered my 2013 Ram 1500 from. I will not go anywhere else from now on, if I decide to get another Ram years from now. They blew the other 2 local Ram dealers (same auto group) out of the water when it came to pricing.

Exclamation

So I have been hunting a good paint shop and found one!

First I want to say it is a shame how shop owners see a girl coming in a truck and jack up the price. Good thing my Dad taught me a thing or two about vehicles or I would have believed the first guy that told me, “sorry love but you can’t repaint that. But I can order you in a new bumper and paint it to match.”
Yes, you guessed it I stopped by the local Ram Dealer just to see, what a joke!

So out to the little shop in the middle of nowhere that one of the mopar car show guys told me about. And WOW! It could not be any different.

He told me he can first try to just cut of the drips and sand, if the runs are just in the clear coat. $50.00
But if it is in the paint it self it will be sanding it down and maybe paint and adding clear coat. $250.00
I take it in on Saturday morning. I will post the update and pictures when I get home.

Actually that's a myth. Factory paint is cured at the factory and you should clean, wax, polish/seal your paint pretty much as soon as you get it home.

Maybe back when they used lacquer in multiple stages. Todays paint is nothing in terms of curing. Besides, no way would I want to park my new truck someplace & have a bird crap on it flying over w/o any sort of sealant/wax.

Also if it was polished at the plant, chances are they would of caught the paint flaw in the first place.
