Anybody know a good site I can buy exhausts for the regular cab truck? Or can the exhaust be cut down from the quad cab?

There are a few systems out there for the reg cab trucks. Summit carries systems for your truck from Flowmaster, Dynomax, and Cherry Bomb. Of those, Dynomax would be my first choice because it's very similar to Magnaflow but that's just my personal opinion. It also seems to be priced pretty well.

Depending on what you are looking for, I would seriously consider piecing together my own system. Pick the muffler you want, how you want it to exit, and the style of tip that you prefer and take it all to a reputable exhaust shop. You get a complete custom exhaust to your liking for probably less than the cost of a catback system.

any of you guys have some experience with Heartthrob exhaust? or SpinTech?
i saw Heartthrob on the Stacy Davids Show and some guy at work has SpinTech on both his trucks and they both sound badass
i am also looking for just a muffler for my truck.
im gonna keep the stock pipes and just replace the muffler... would that be a problem? should i change the pipes as well?

any input would be greatly appreciated...and yes i know im an idiot this is my first Truck.

I put a 22" Maggy on my 4.7, then ditched it for the Flowmaster American Thunder Catback (uses the 50HD muffler). SO much happier, my Ram sounds like a truck now!

If you're still having trouble choosing what you want. Go ahead and check my signature, click mods. I've got pics and video of my flowmaster American thunder kit ... Its nice. Not a lot of drone and is loud when you hit the gas. I bought it from autoanything... I think you can get one for a regular cab, and if you're concerned about getting the right one just go to live help

Magnaflow all the way... its a straight through design, you will get your performance gains out of it. If you are just looking for sound and dont wanna spend as much money, go with the chambered flowmaster. but i recommend magnaflow. Good tone and Performance

I have a 2010 with Flowmaster Super 44 an it sounds great. But i do have a problem. Sense putting the flowmaster an catback on i keep getting check engine code for the o2 senser. All 4 of them have been replaced an if i just set an idle it will throw the code again. Especially if it is hot outside. Dealer said it was because i altered the exhaust. Any help??

There's also the dynomax bullets, they're a straight thru muffler that's very aggressive and cheap. Like 30 bucks on amazon. Or the cherry bomb extreme that's never let me down in terms of volume and tone!

While I agree that the magnaflow muffler has the design for better performance... if all you are replacing is that muffler then you shouldn't care. The muffler is a supporting mod that compliments a ton of other mods that help increase performance. I think gains, if any, will not get noticed with just a muffler swap.

I personally chose the Flowmaster 40 and put on some 5" tips.

Ignore the slapping sound as that is my broken exhaust manifold bolts..
