I feel it just looks great when you open the hood. I think you get the same out come from all the cold air set ups. And its not as noisy as the others. No real loud sucking sound when you get on it. So if you want quiet and good looks then buy one.

i have one and i like it. i don't think it makes 30 hp but i do feel a difference in acceleration. You could always buy one and if u don't like it you can get your money back

Your stock air box and filter are more than enough. If you want to improve it, check out the RAM Air mods people have done. That will make a big difference in how your truck performs. You don't really need a CAI, you just need to RAM more air up and into your stock unit. The inlet to the stock box is very restrictive from the front fender, a simple mod can fix that.

Stock airbox is fine without supporting mods. Add headers, exhaust, PTB, tune, and you will see gains with one.

Unfortunately Doz I have to disagree. The stock air box and filter flow really quite well, especially when you add in the Ram air. The stock unit is under used by the restrictive intake from the front fender, by modifying it to have a RAM air effect, takes full advantage of its size and flow capabilities.
For me the only reason to have a CAI is so that you don't have to change the filter frequently, a Volant system is good for 100,000 miles. I have added their ram Air scoop to my Volant system, it really made a difference. But the mod to the stock system will net the same results.
